We exhibited at Africa’s largest (over 2000 exhibitors & over 10000 delegates), most
impressive trade travel show, Indaba. Our candy & Beavercreek locally grown Transkei Gold Coffee bar kept abuzz – caffeine & sugar assisted the process! For those who attended Indaba, good to see you & thanks for popping in! We were also most delighted to welcome some of our Umngazi team who had the opportunity of attending the AA Awards at the City Hall & visited the new Moses Mabhida Stadium. It was a great way to celebrate their 15 year service to Umngazi.

Good news…Umngazi have been privileged to win the AA Awards
for the Family Resort Category. Results are purely based on guest
feedback, hence we once again thank guests for their patronage & for
giving us your valuable feedback. Congrats to the other finalists.

Umngazi has been nominated as a finalist in the World Travel Awards 2010
(Africa’s Leading Family Resort Category). The last stretch requires you to vote

Due to the World Cup & school holiday date changes; please be reminded of Umngazi River Bungalow’s promise, made last year to our loyal friends because of changes to the school holidays over 2010, that we would waiver the 'Guest Loyalty Programme' so that you would have priority to renew your 2009 dates for 2011. As Christmas, New Year and Easter weekend were not affected the normal waitlist procedure will be in place.

The time has now come for this to start. I ask that if you have not already informed us that you would like to renew your 2009 dates in 2011, please do so urgently. The cut-off is as follows;

  • 30th June 2010 for those wishing to confirm May, June, July and August 2011.
  • 31st July 2010 for those wishing to confirm September, October and November 2011.
Once the cutoff dates have been met we will address 2010 renewals and then new inquiries.

I want to share with you a 30 second speech released by the CEO of Coca Cola:
"Imagine your life is a game where you juggle 5 balls...work, family, health, friends and spirit. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball and will bounce back if you drop it but the rest is more fragile and will irrevocable scuff, mark, nick, damage or even shattered. You must always remember this and strive to keep them protected. Finish work on time and give the time to your family and friends and have proper rest." On that note, we very much welcome your feedback and will include wherever possible your suggestions to even further improve the product and service.

We look forward to welcoming you to Umngazi and ensure that your experience will be one that you will treasure forever.

“Enjoy the soccer & well done to the Bafana Bafana team. United we stand!”
